Two people, and fleets of coding agents running around the clock. As of this week, every credit you gave us is spent.
Play is a workspace where you describe the work and an AI co-worker builds the thing that does it. To get there we did it to ourselves first: most of our code is now written by agents we supervise rather than typed by hand. That is why two people produce the commit volume of a three-thousand-person company.
Every one of those commits still has to be compiled, tested and stored somewhere, and that somewhere has been Google Cloud since the first day. Your credits went straight into that machine. This month they ran out.
Every other company on that chart employs between 1,400 and 3,700 people. Same 30 days, same counting rules — public history, merge commits and bot accounts stripped out. On that basis we are sixth in the world.
Two grants, both real, both fully consumed. We have not asked for anything since — until now.

Two things it buys: the build farm keeps running as we add agents, and the model calls inside our product move onto Gemini on Vertex — the one large piece of our stack that is not Google yet.
We would rather go deeper with one cloud than spread across three. Credits are what keep that an easy decision instead of an open question.
